131" required header, is it of any use?

So, I was forced to buy the associated header (65600177) with my 131" crate engine.  I'm looking at it as a painfully expensive boat anchor.  My son has a 2019 Street Glide (107") with stock air filter and exhaust, and is looking to make an exhaust change.

Could the 65600177 be of any use to him?  Maybe with an air filter and tuning it to a Stage I map?

I'd like to have the 65600177 not be a total loss.  BTW, for the 131" I'm going with a D&D Billet Cat.

No difference from a performance standpoint, the 131 header simply has Euro4 certification & stamping.

Any advice or good techniques for getting that cat insert out of there?

The cat on this pipe has metal rings on each end.  Are these rings welded to the header, or is the cat just jammed into the header?

If they are not welded, then I'm wondering if I could take a long woodboring drill bit and broach out the cat.  Think this is possible?  Or is that just going to make a big mess?

The Cat in the Euro4 header (=header included in the 131" kit) is 20% longer then the Cat in the US-Header. So it should be 20% more restrictive...

Of course.  That's exactly what I want for a 131".  Lol...sheesh!  WTF?!
