Brake fluid?

2013 road glide manual says to use dot4 brake fluid - would synthetic dot4 be acceptable? Any advantages or disadvantages versus standard dot4?
Pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Most fluids are glycols (except DOT 5) which are alcohols like antifreeze so Like the others discussed I am not sure what synthetic means in this context.  Could be marketing hype.  Use it, it will be fine.

Usually, the synthetic branded has/maintains a higher boiling point which is good for ABS.
