Anyone use the HHT cam remover/ install tool for m8

Has anyone used the HHT cam bearing remover/ installer tool? Is this the one that stops dead on during bearing install or do you have to measure back and forth so you don't press past the inner lip?

I purchased one off Flea bay, it stated the depth was the shoulder on the tool? I measured mine before and after to make sure it was real close and it was. 9k on the new RS 468 and no issues.
