Why wont a S/eagle pn31763 ig module work on 04 softail

Having problems , why wont a s/eagle ignition module   pn 31763 work on a 04 softail STD carb model, fires up then dies , pics are of the original module and the S/E module , when original module put back on every thing is okay ?

Thanks FSG ,havent heard back from owner of the bike ,the module was brand new,cheers
