I hope someone out there has maybe an old Zippers Catalog or the specs for the XL Hammer 99 kit. Zippers no longer carries the kit.I have this kit in my 03 883 low rider. I bought the bike in 2006 with the kit but moved several times since then and paperwork(specs, dyno chart or parts list) missing. Thanks Salty

I just looked. The Hammer 1200 kit is on the Zippers website.
Q. What is the best ___? <br />A. Whatever YOU have

Thanks for the reply but the Hammer 99 kit is no longer listed. The 1200 kit is a smaller version. The (99 cubic inch) Hammer kit was basically a bored and stroked XL (not quite 4x4)with ported Buell heads ,Redshift cams and some S&S parts. The dyno chart was something close to 120 hp @6200rpm.Any help is appreciated.

I may be wrong but I think the guys are trying to tell you that the Hammer Kit was produced by Hammer Performance and Zippers was just selling it.  Hammer Performance is a site  supporting Vendor here on HTT.  If you want info or parts contact them through here or on their web site.  Get your info from the source.

Thanks for the reply. Zippers Performance sells their own kits for many years and have marketed many using the name Hammer. Zippers Performance located in Maryland formerly sold a Hammer 99 kit.It was not affiliated with Hammer Performance.Salty

Ahhh, I see.  After saying that it comes to mind that even though he apparently didn't produce them, I'll bet he knows lots about them.  :nix:
