1995 Heritage Heat Sheilds

Just starting the riding season here in Alberta Canada.  New bike for me (1995 Heritage)  Exhaust is stock with Screaming Eagle slip-ons.  Already burnt my boot on the front muffler.  I was thing of adding an extra heat shield over top of the front muffler.  I have some left over from other bikes i used to own.  Will look a bit dorkey but I think it will save my boots form burning onto muffler.  What have you guy done to help with this issue. Well try to find the reply button.    Everyone over here is on their 3rd scotch and FSG is just pouring his 2nd cup of morning coffee.  No contest there.
