Yaffe classic apes

I'd like to put yaffe classic 10" apes on my 2019 flhtk. I don't really like the pointy tops in a lot of the bars made nowadays. My question is, are 1" bars that much harder to pull the wires? I've been told the heated grips are not an issue. I've read that some bars need trimmed in the right side? These are slotted for tbw so that should not be an issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

You will not have any problem running the wires through the 1" bars.
