What should I look for  as a place to post photos?   I've heard of SmugMug,  PhotoBucket, yuku  etc.
Which is the easier to use? What about cost?   Privacy?  All greek to me.   :moonbat:

I use photobucket, mostly because it is easy to use and free.

Another vote for photobucket, although I haven't used the others.

Another Photobucket user here, for the same reasons already given. Works for me.

I like Photobucket as well, its free and easy to set up an "album" slideshow thing. Here is an experiment I did using some pictures of my workshop and bike for my nephew. Hit the link and it plays by itself, although you can slow down/stop the pictures if you want to check them out.

I use a few different places depending on need and where I am at the time.

I use Photobucket.  I pay for extra storage as I put up a lot of pics and leave the albums there.  If you delete a pic or ablum the pics in the thread disappear.  Same happens if you rename an album.

You can make the albums private with a password.  Then you can link or copy and paste to threads.  If you want some others to see all the pics, email them the password.

Say I have a folder with 50 pictures in it on Windows XP in "My Pictures". Can I send the whole folder to photobucket, or do I have to load each individual picture?

PB has a bulk uploader.  I use it all the time.  After creating the album, it will open a new page.  At the bottom of the box you have the choice of bulk or old style, a few at a time.

Grumpy, when you create the album in PB, do you do it one picture at a time, or can you put 50 pictures in the album with one click?

Thanks Grumpy and all:   Looks like most prefer Photobucket,  I'll give it a shot. :smilep:
