Hi, i have a Dyna low rider S with the 110Ci engine and am getting a squeaky scratching sound in the engine, it doesn't necessarily increase when I increase the RPMs it's sort of stays constant.
Now I've took off the rocker covers thought maybe I'd have a broken and rocker arm but everything seems to be well.

so before I start tearing the engine down the engine, you guys have any ideas ?

I've checked there is nothing loose on the bike so I've checked the exhaust parts etc. ....

thanks for any help

Don D

check - cut open the oil filter see if there's any metal in the filter and what color, that should tell you if there's a bearing issue or something else.
on my Evo, I had a similar sound, turned out to be cam bearings - best of luck
