My son has the 06' Street Glide.
He had it parked in his garage for two years.
He put a new battery in it yesterday.
The fuel tank is almost full.

When he tried to start it, it just turned over and over.
I checked both spark plugs, no spark at either one.
Also, no fuel at either one.

Can any of you guys help with some direction on this?
We need to get back up and running.

Thanks.

Did you leave the plugs in for cranking?  The ECM senses crank hesitation on compression to make it fire.  Leave the plugs in and use a spare known good plug to test for spark. I hope you are using fresh gas too.

did you take the fuel cap off and listen for the fuel pump? do you have a spark tester for the plugs, can't just ground them like the older stuff. pull the fuel pump fuse out and spray some diode cleaner on the plugs and fuse box. maybe give it a small shot of starting fluid(SMALL SHOT)

disconnect the fuel line from the tank and reconnect it. i've seen them start after doing this.
Really, no joke

Two years? Was the fuel t no Treated? What does it smell like? If there was Fuel Treatments/Stabilizer, it's most likely the fuel Pump. When testing pugs on First Gen Delphi, one spark plug needs to remain for compression to signal spark.

Check for power at the fuel pump fuse. If it's a no I would suspect the system relay...

This but first I'd push up on it and rotate a bit.

I'll probably be headed back to look at it tonight and try the above suggestions.

I will post the results when we finish.

Thank you all for your input.

Well the Street Glide is back up and running.

We ordered a ign relay from J&P a few days ago.
It showed up today.
Plugged it in and you could tell immediately tell the fuel pump ran longer.
The bike started right up just as it used to.

fbn ent Your suggestion nailed it.

Again, thanks to everyone.
Gotta love this site!
