I'm getting ready to paint a tank, fenders, and side panels using PPG's Vibrance Radiance II candy color. This will be the first time that I've used a urethane candy color.

I'm spraying a test panel this weekend using various pearls and the number of mid-coats. If anyone here has experience using this line of paint, I'd appreciate a few pointers if you have any. How many coats did you do to get the effect you were looking for? Any other pointers also appreciated.

Base: Black with either white, blue, gold or silver pearl
Mid: Candy color : DMX217 Green in DBC500
Top: DCU2021 Clear

White pearl is the what the mix formula calls for in the base.
