Tri Glide License Plate Bulb

One of the two license plate bulb's is out on my Tri Glide, Perfect time to replace with LED
Do you have to remove the liner on the inner trunk door to gain access to the light socket ?
I can't seem to figure out what has to be a simple job. Thanks for your help

REMOVAL
1. Remove four screws and remove trunk door inner cover.
2. Disconnect license plate lamp connector  from rear lighting harness.
