Runout around .0018.... happy with that, but I'm not sure that's the whole story.

Anything else I need to check?

Thanks

I would clean up the pinion shaft and probably use a new cam plate and be done with it as the run out is good.

Thanks Scotty.  When you say clean up, you mean polish the wear marks?
Why the need for a new cam plate?

Yes just polish the wear marks and make it smooth.
As for cam plate that bushing looks like it has a bit of wear in the photos but if you think it feels alright and no roughness then run it but it just looks rough in the photo.

Ok thanks. 👍
It feels smooth, so I might just run it a is?

Different angle and photo looks different...............Being there in person makes all the difference.

Yeah I know. Big difference.

That's why I try and take 2 or 3 pics. But it's not the same 😬

I'd pull the bypass out of the camplate to ensure no crud and perhaps polish it ..

what do the camchain tensioner shoes look like

I was going to do that 👍 and I also have a fueling spring to put in to improve oil pressure.

The outer cam shoe was looking ok, but the inner definitely needed replacing - a small fragment actually chipped off it as I was unloading it...

I'm curious as to how many miles are on those tensioner shoes?

Hey Jason,

I'm not the original owner and don't know the history of the bike - but it's remotely possible that these are the original shoes.... bike has done 46,000kms (what's that in miles? just under 30K miles?). The inner shoe was both worn and brittle, as it chipped easily as I pulled it away from the chain. That's my guess.

Ok, thank you for the feedback.
