1995 Heritage Softail.  I find brake pedal is too close to my foot.  My boot rubs on bottom of brake pad.  On a 1997 FLH I had switched to a newer style brake pedal and it was further out so my boot was not hindered.  Any one know what year HD switched to the extended pedal???
I'll try to find one and switch it out.  I think this is a major improvement. Thanks all.

Check the accessory catalog, it might have been an add-on.
They don't call me Ironhead Rick just because I'm "hard headed"

The new pedal is nice. However, I tend to round up one of those old "Panhead" style square brake pedal pads, and cut pedal pad bracket down to fit it. Plenty of room then.

Soft Brake makes a pedal for Evo Softails.
I put one on about 6 months ago, should have tossed the stupid design oem pedal 32 years ago...

On the touring models the longer pedal appeared starting in 2002. On '02 and later models we had to change to the shorter pedals when adding sidecars so the longer pedal wouldn't hit the sidecar frame.
