Yes the bracket mounts at the front of oil tank. Then use a cable from a later shovelhead. Call Calif. Phil

Does anyone have a picture of a cable end (hand lever end) from a 72 to 78 Shovelhead?
I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one...

Jam, remember that you will need the shorter lever on the transmission too.  You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.   :wink:

Had a mouse trap on a 65 pan head. Loved the way it felt but was a pita to get adjusted. Loved the looks. If I had one on my bike, I would leave it, If its not there I would not go through the trouble. I would think using a shovel head release arm and related components you should make it work

I have three cables, and none have that collar that yours has.
