Tire question on 2010 trike

Is it a bad idea to put any other type of tires on the rear of a trike, or should you stay with Dunlop's? Wife rides a 2010 tri-glide. We appreciate everybody experience, or thoughts. They are a 15" tire .

Have seen people run different tires on the rear of trikes. Have a friend that replaced the rear tires with walfart tires with dunlops same identical tires and a hellova lot cheeper. Take the wheels off and they'' mount and balance.

Have Goodyear Comfort Tread on my 2011 trike. Wife says better ride, and they do stick better in corners.
