Hi All,
Looking to replace tires on 2007 FXSTC. Looking in the service manual it looks as though Harley mixed a bias ply on front wheel with a radial on rear tire. Am I missing something? I was always under impression that mixing bias and radial was a no no.. Front is a laced 21"...Rear is a cast 17"...Thanks for any insight!

There are no issues with mixing them.

I think most remember this warning from the early days of automobile radials.

I have the same bike, and have tried just about every possible brand tire.

No issue with mixing bias/radial for this application.

I have had Dunlop American Elites in the 200-55-17 size on backorder since January.  Slim Pickens on choices now.
