Wanting to hook up a auto tune module to my Power vision.  Can I just replace my narrow bands with the wide bands and use the bungs?  Or do I need a 2nd set of bungs? They are both the same size.  Bob

Sorry its a 2006 Dyna with a fuel moto E-Pipe. It has dual narrow band o2 sensors, they are the same size has the wide bands provided in the auto tune kit.  Bob

If you're talking about the Auto Tune Pro kit, it can't run closed loop with the wide bands. Therefore you have three options:

  • Swap the Pro Kit on for tuning only, removing the stock narrow band sensors. Then swap back to the narrow band sensors after tuning so that you can run closed loop.
  • Swap the Pro kit on permanently and replace the factory sensors with the wide bands. You will not be able to run closed loop.
  • Add a set of bungs and put both the narrow and wide band sensors in at the same time. Now you'll be able to run auto tune when you want, and still be able to run closed-loop with the narrow bands.

On the other hand, if you're talking about the Target Tune kit, you can chuck the narrow band sensors. Closed Loop wide band is what the TT kit brings to the party.

Also, just an FYI, the CAN Bus version of the Auto Tune Pro kit got discontinued. They're pushing everyone toward Target Tune instead. Although I think the J1850 version works on a CAN bus bike if you just get the 6-pin cable.

They've kept the Auto Tune Pro kit around for the J1850 bikes. That's because TT doesn't work on bikes that came without factory sensors. So guys with pre-2007 models with no factory sensors, the Auto Tune Pro kit is the only option.

The CAN Auto Tune Pro kit (part # AT-101) has not been discontinued, it was superseded to part # AT-101B which includes the 18mm weld in bungs

Thanks for the info gentlemen. Its the AT-110 that i have, going to use the stock o2 bungs and tune it with the wide bands. I will replace them with the stockers again when done.   Bob

If the big bungs are up near the exhaust ports (for the unheated narrow bands), I felt they didn't do as good there. I started installing rivnuts about 6" away downstream to sample with the widebands. YMMV

OK, I'm confused. Their web site says the AT-101B is for Power Commander V's: https://www.dynojet.com/autotune-at-101b/
Likewise your own web site only mentions the Power Commander V when describing the AT-101B https://www.fuelmotousa.com/series-191563-dynojet-auto-tune-kit-for-power-commander-v.html#!make%3DHARLEY-DAVIDSON
And again on your web site, for the Auto Tune Pro kit for the Power Vision, it's impossible to select a CAN Bus bike: https://www.fuelmotousa.com/series-194083-dynojet-auto-tune-pro-kit-for-power-vision.html#!make%3DHARLEY-DAVIDSON%7C%7Csq%3Dat-101b

Does the AT-101B work with the PV? If so, why isn't it marketed for it?

You can use any dual channel Dynojet Auto Tune device with any Power Vision PV-1 or PV-2 you just need the appropriate cables for each application, Dynojet did indeed discontinue & supersede some part numbers, you now have to purchase the add ons. On a Power Vision equipped CAN bus bike the AT-101B requires the Y splitter (76950389) and 72" CAN cable ( 76950427). You can also use a AT-110B with the 4 pin to 6 pin adapter.

Yes, I realize there are ways to get there, in fact I mentioned one method. But I stand by my statement, the Auto Tune Pro kit for the CAN Bus bikes has been discontinued. I have no official word on the reason why, perhaps you do, but my presumption is to steer people to the TT kit. Which I think is a good thing anyway. We're certainly steering all of our customers who can use a TT kit (i.e. their bike came with sensors) to it.
