17 breakout electrical crap..how do i read codes

how do i read codes..
rode the bike last weekend...today i get on it and get ready to go and no left turn signal..works then dont..not the bulb..

and the gas pump on the dash is blinking...

and the red light in the center stays on all the time....

i mean..all it did was sit...im guessing water in a plug maybe?  17 breakout...ill run the codes before i start looking...dangit i hate electrical crap

Check battery voltage and for loose cables. Start simple.
If the government gives you everything you want,
it can take everything you have.

i did put it on the charger..batt is 4 yrs old so its likely that..but my dyna did dumb "Potty mouth" when the ginat plug under the seat got wet....

so many things at once tho right?  tun signal brake light..just one..intemittent..and the low range gas light blinking...tanks almost full..only 35 mi on it..id..wierd

Have you ridden in heavy rain lately to make you think it is a wet plug? Have you checked for loose battery cables?
If the government gives you everything you want,
