In a nutshell what effect would it have if I put on my stock crossover mufflers on a stage 2 bike? I have a 1997 Heritage Softail that has been updated to stage 2, EV 27 cam, carb rejetted,  Dynatek 2000i ignition, free breathing dual exhaust.
Here in BC Canada when your bike is 25 years old you can apply for "vintage" license plates. Mine turns 25 next year. Insurance for the bike is way less expensive. There are restrictions like not being able to drive it to work etc. I am retired so that isn't a problem. The thing is the bike must be stock in appearance. I have the original stock crossover exhaust. What would the effect be with putting on the stock exhaust ?

No ill effect, and depending on the exhaust you are running now, it may even run better.
