Trans sprocket

Gentlemen I screwed up. I pulled the trans sprocket and immediately dropped it.
Does the dish go in towards the trans or out towards the inner?

Still haven't learned to take pics when i am taking stuff apart.

I can't remember either but is there any way you can compare the witness mark from the mainshaft nut to the sprocket?

Thanks kd but there is a witness mark on both sides. Chain alignment is right with the dish toward the trans. Going with that... for now.

On mine the dished side goes toward the trans. If installed dished side out it binds on trans and won't turn.
