My ignition switch pulled apart when I turned off the bike and pulled out the key. I found after market switches online. Are they as good as oem? Thanks

bobo

no idea but I usually replace with OEM just so the key stays the same

The OEM ignition switch is pretty simple... can it be put back together...?

I recently took my '03 Heritage switch portion apart to clean the contacts, but didn't have to mess with the key portion..

If it is actually broken, unrepairable, it can be replaced with OEM...

They sell the entire lockset for your bike, with keys, ignition switch, and fork lock- #71450-04. You can get it online for about $110.00

Or you can get just the ignition switch, coded to your keys- #71313-96A. You can get it online for about $90.00
