Looking for big torque 2500-4000 (not concerned with anything above 4500). Low end grunt, short shifting and roll on power at cruising speeds for passing power.

Air cooled, Stock TB,heavy breather, decatted header with chrome werks slip ons currently. CVO road glide two up hauler.

I've used these with positive results in the range you state.

The oem se255 cam should achieve what you want

Any plans for upping compression to make better use of cam upgrade? If not, I think the TTS100 makes a good showing...

Has it been tuned yet? Should be making 114ish/90ish.
At stock compression, the TTS100 works slightly better than the SE255, across the board, but nothing earth shattering.
I've used SE Heavy Breather and D&D 2-1 on a couple CVOs, which sounds great to me, but I found results were slightly better with either a FuelMoto 2-1-2 & Pro Touring mufflers, or a Fullsac DX headpipe & 1.75" baffles.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Take your pick. These will all offer a little more and bolt in.
Either a S&S MR103, CompCams TC3102, CR570, or TTS 150. I would expect in the high 90s and 110 torque. Pipe will determine the curve shape. OK I can predict the next question, "the best". There is no "best", the result will be close to the same with all of them and pipe becomes more of an influence.

I have always liked the tman 580, plus it will grow with you if you decide.

Ran the tts150s in a 117 trike at 10.5. Great combo.

I didn't realize these were so low on compression. I've never messed with a CVO before. Only the heads off of one. This CVO had a collapsed lifter at 25k, no damage done, caught it before it grenaded (luckily).

IIRC the stock springs on the 110" heads have pretty heavy seat pressure. Is there a bolt in with more mellow ramps than the 255? Something that won't hammer valvectrain components so badly? Since performance seems same regardless of (bolt-in) selection, which would be best for longevity of components?

The TTS 150 is an awesome cam here in a 110, the springs should be changed too.

C-Cat

T-Man 580 PS2. It's advertised as a bolt in for the 110 CVO.

Any of the cams I listed.
The springs have 20 lbs less on the seat than the beehives they get replaced with by most. When you hear then clatter at 22-2600 rpm that is valve lash that is killing lifters. A combination of ramp intensity and spring design causes that, and there are other influences less important.

I've been wanting to try the Star Racing torque cams.  Old George says they're the best.

HD Performance didn't you used to advocate changing springs in 110 heads? Still do? Which ones? Thanks

I use dual springs with 140# seat and 375 open or conicals about the same spec.

Just a suggestion, how about installing a pair of reworked Twin Cam heads in place of the 110 heads.
Along with a .030 in. head gasket will give you an instant 1 point of compression.
I did this on my CVO Road King using the GMR 577 cam.
115/114.
Pulled hard right from idle to 5500.
Tuning will be the key.

Please post a Dyno Sheet listing exhaust and other goodies.

Hmmm...no longer on the forum Dyno Charts for whatever reason.
Baisley ported Twin Cam heads, GMR 577 cams, HPI 55/58 TB, Fuel Moto head pipe, and Crusher Mellows.
Comp. was 10.55.
I did zero deck the cylinders. IIRC they were .010/.012 in the hole prior to machining.

This?

Thanks Coyote.
That tune is with just the cam and exhaust change.

I have a confession to make, I was looking at the wrong dyno sheet in my files.

The one for the 14 CVO RK made 110/117, not 115/114.

Not trying fudge any numbers, just an honest mistake.
