I am looking to do some work to my Slim and I am curious as to what the stock valve sizes are for my 2016 Slim 103? And what is the stock size of the throttle body?

Thanks!
Thanks,
Whip

my recollection is 1.805 intake and 1.575 exhaust

Stock ETC TB is 50 mm. SE58 works well for a lot of builds, as does the HPI offerings.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Sorry for the slow reply. Thank you for the information. I am looking to do a 107 for this bike. I am going to keep the current cam and I was thinking that I may want to go with bigger valves but if these are the stock sizes, then I think that I am going to leave the valves alone.
Thanks,
Whip

So how many of you who have done a 107 upgrade have increased the valve sizes? I looked in the dyno run section and looks like that most are using stock valve sizes. I am thinking of just bumping the intake up to a 1.90 but leave the exhaust alone. I am using the S&S 551 but putting it on stilts...
Thanks,
Whip

On 107 TC engines I like to use HPI or S&S 58 mm throttle body with 1.780 port opening and 1.900 intake valve, 1.615 or 1.575 exhaust valve (depending on cam choice and riding style). Port the heads accordingly. On the Slim I would use the S&S 583 cams.

Man that 583 has a short TDC Lift value on both ends in comparison to the 551.... I will go to a 58mm but not sure whose I will use yet. I have a set of 1.725 rockers that I bought for a different project but I didn't use. I like the timing of the 551 more than the 583 for this application. Heads will be ported of course but the pipe that I am want to use, not so sure yet.

I am also a member of another forum and right now there are about five 107 builds in progress.  One is completed and hit the dyno at about 120/120; but haven't seen the sheet.  All are similar plans wtih heads ported by different porters but all going with the 1.9xx/1.6xx larger valves, SE or HPI 58mm T/Bs, with differnt cams; TMan 590, S&S 570 and S&S 585 with a variety of exhausts; Bassani Prostreets; Fatcat with louvered baffle: S&S Power Duals, slipons unknown. All are in the 10.5-10.8 static CR range. It's fun watching all the back and forth about why one has chosen this pipe; that T/B, etc.  All are aiming for 120/125 numbers and it is going to be interesting and fun to watch the chatter once they start posting dyno sheets.

I mostly just lurk here but I'm one of the 107 builds djl is talking about and after talking with an HPI tech who's running a near identical build I went with a one of their throttle bodies not mentioned often for some reason but enhances midrange and upper rpms on builds like mine and perhaps you might want to consider it as well rather than just a straight 58mm. It's their 55/58 Max Flow. A 55mm throttle body with a 58mm plenum. I went with 1.800 runners.
Might just help those grunt cams carry out a little further and give you a little better midrange torque. Just a thought...

Now my 107 is going with Tman 590 cams and cranking compression of 207ish. 3cc domed pistons and 84cc chambers. 1.98/1.615 valves.
I'm all about a strong midrange and higher rpms than most as I run a 30 tooth primary for off the line torque. I spend 90% of my time between 3000-5000rpm. Cranking it up to 6000rpm now and then which is where my rev limiter is set being a B motor.
I still think you might benefit from a 55/58 rather than a straight 58. Just my opinion of course.

Don(HD Street Performance) here is doing my heads as we speak and I'd put $$$ on my 107 coming out on top out the aforementioned 5.

Pipe and Tuner?   Bob

Well the pipe is sure to cause some controversy most likely as I'm not a 2in1 guy. I'm running the Pro Streets in their turn out configuration after seeing their results on djl's 115/115 98" with CR 595s. They also busted 100ft.lbs. at 2200rpm on that same build so I'm pretty confident they'll do equally well on my 107 with the 590s @ 10.9/11.0 whatever the CR works out to. 10.94 as I recall.
Bob did my wheelhouse with S&S wheels and a new balance assembly. I picked that up 2 weeks ago up in Whitehall and its all buttoned up. He's also doing my tune with the PV. Personally I like the TTS but Bob's the man and prefers the PV. Can't find the TTS anyway and up til now I've been running the SE Pro Super Tuner when it was a stage II 103 with the 570s.
Thoughts/guesses at my results? I'm gonna say 123hp/127 torque.
I should add this is in a '13 Heritage Classic stripped down to solo mode.

@ Whiplash96:
I'm curious as to your riding style and your choice of bagger cams in a slim. Do you ride 2up often or carry a lot of weight for some other reason?
Why the headwork or larger throttle body/valves? What are your goals or what are you looking to gain?
