adjuster screw threads not machined perpendicular to the plate

I'm sure someone posted they found this problem within the last few months but I don't remember who.

Nevermind I bring your attention to Tech Tip 332.

I was looking for something else but as I was always giving the plate a quick skim in the lathe to true it up

I thought I'd just pop this back to the top .....

Would that be enough to show some witness marks on clutch pushrod ? And will keep an eye out when i have em removed. Thanks FSG for picture.
