Anybody have the date codes for shovelhead cylinders? Or know how to decode them? Appreciate any help.

What DCs do you have? I've been studying DCs on certain H-D cylinders for a while but it's only more recently that I began collecting examples of DCs on Shovel cylinders and more than one format was used. The two formats I've seen thus far consist of numbers only but only one of these formats seems definite about the year—for example, 341-70 seems to indicate casting in 1970. An example of the other format would be 32-6 which may suggest casting in 1966 although I do not know for certain.
 
If you post photos of your DCs I'll help if I can. Also please post photos of your casting numbers. Thanks.
