Looking at a 2019 trike. Anyway of telling by the vin# if it has the updated oil pump and cam plate?

Is the date of manufacturing not on the VIN tag on the frame?

No- the latest pump didn't even make it into some early 2020 models...
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

The 8 lobe oil pump is on all 2020 M8 models and 2019 model year with engines built after 5/22/19 according to the literature.

I have found two 2020's with the 10 lobe. I wouldn't trust anything the MoCo says in the last five years. Just say'n

my 19 was built in feb of that year an has the 10 lobe pump it sumped as well that makes three out of three as well just out of warranty which sucks going with the S&S pumps.
