07 crank install

07 ultra.these cranks don't need  any set up?press new bearings in case,put crank in & bolt up cases?
what special tools are needed?   thanks Al

 have a manual.don't see where it says anything special.except for some tools, like crank guide

Hopefully it is a Harley factory service manual.  They are quite detailed.  More so than any of the aftermarket versions.

yes it's the factory manual.just wondering about the tools needed for bearing & seal install that
they show.

The bearing guides assists the installation go straight and proper, helpful but not necessary. You can heat the cases in an oven, and shrink the bearings in the freezer, and they will almost drop in- slight press pressure & done. Install retainers, and move on with reassembly. Seal install can be done with a piece of PVC tube the right size and a small mallet, hold it square and be gentle.
