i have a Roadking (Sundowner style) seat on my 06 Streetglide. bought it from someone in the swap meet section and it fit fine. the P&A book shows 97-07 being the same as far as fitment.

your flhx, and flhrs's don't have rear crash bars (stock), the seats for flhr/c have a "notch" in the sides to clear them , but usually do not show if you don't have the crash bar.
the flhrs and flhx have different dashes than the flhr/c, the flhrs seat has a shorter nose because the dash is a bit longer, I'm not sure about the flhx.

the difference is the length of the dash and the length of the nose of the seats. a standard roadking seat will fit a street glide, the nose of it may ride up on the dash an inch or so... not a problem if the nose is soft &  flexible, unlike a corbin or mustang.
an flhrs seat will fit on a flhr/c, you'll just have a 1" or so ugly gap between the seat and dash... and a huge, ugly space between the seat and dash on a Ultra, but it will in fact mount-up, just not look so good  :smilep:

Short answer-that seat will work on the SG. The main difference on the touring models is the FLHT, FLHTC and FLHTCU all have a short tank console, so the seats all have a longer nose. The FLHX along with most, if not all, the Road Kings use the seat with the short nose. Then there is there is the minor issue with the passenger hand rails, if you still have them....

Thanks for your replys, I think the roadkings and streetglides are the same, and roadglides and ultra's are the same because of the dashes...
I found this seat on e-bay and it only said 97-up FLHR which is roadking only, but the p/n was a old number from 2005 and the streetglides weren't made yet
so that is what I figured...
