Aquatics No Sound

I installed a aquatics unit a couple years ago so far so go..................sorta Went for a ride everything was fine a week later no sound out of the speakers you can see the unit is getting signals via radio and blue tooth put no output.  I know there has been mixed reviews on these but are they known to just quit like this?
