Currently it's a HD full 117" TC with the left side bearing upgraded.
Runs great - no issues.
Would like more attitude from the bike.
I have a spare set of 110 heads that I can set up for a higher compression ratio and can upgrade the intake valve to 2.125 as suggested.
Compression now is the "advertised" 9.9-1

Current cam is the 259E and I have zero complaints. Was looking at going to the 263E or even the 266.

If it's cool with everyone I would like to stick with a HD cam.

I was thinking 11-1 and 260 duration with 650 lift.

The bike is "light" and I ride 1 up 99.5% of the time.

Pipe is a modified set of 2-2 big rads. Won't be swapping to any 2-1 pipe.

Set it at 11:1. It will respond. The other 2 cams you mentioned are not going to be much better. The 263 is off my radar. The 266 is a great cam at 12:1, assuming the heads can go there and breathe

You don't necessarily need high lift for "attitude". SE-257 at about 11.1:1 in a light bike might be fun.
I once ran an andrews 67 set awhile back at that compression. Almost the same cam as the 257. Ran best with 1.7 rockers on intake only. Mainly changed them out because I have a bagger

The 259E is so similar to the older 257 I would not bother. Either needs high compression and both are underrated if the heads breath and other parts cooperate.

Thanks Don, I love the idea of the 266 at 12:1.

The most I can cut off the heads is 0.065 before running into intake manifold issues?

I believe it's .060 and seems to me someone recently had issues with that even. I did .051 no problem.

If you just want to cut the heads for your compression bump, I'd keep the 259e, and even then you should probably do some work on the valve pockets and check clearances.

I have cut CVO 110 heads .125" but would never do that again despite fitment issues fixed like milling the intake faces. Pistons or less cam.

Understood. Gonna have to find some domed pistons then.
