Not an answer to your question but relative.
What are you or whomever wanting to gain?

Surprisingly no cat hurt torque in this example, pay attention to post #22 and #25,

I removed  it  on my  limited  just  to  get  a  little  more  sound ,  hoping  to  do  the  same  thing  with  heritage

I ended up changing the mufflers ,louder than I wanted and I like the looks of stock ones. I finally got around to getting the cat out ,got a long drill bit from Lowes I think is was to bore a hole in wood over a foot long, keep drilling a bunch of holes then using a long chisel broke it apart and got it out now I see just the baffle. I had to remove the gaskets and got to pick up new ones also got it apart to paint when I get it together and running I'll let you know about how it sounds snowed last night. I took cat out of my limited and loved the sound of it.

My 12 Ultra runs stock mufflers with a cat-free ceramic coated Jackpot head pipe. Much cooler on my right leg. It grumbles (a little) but it's so much more pleasant for touring than louder slip-ons have been. I don't do bike nights anymore anyhow.
