Clutch cable thead size

Anyone happen to know the thread size of the clutch cable that threads into the transmission side cover for 2007 Road king? Looks like the threads in the cover are a little boogered up so I was wanting to get the thread size if possible and try to clean those threads up with a tap

Excellent timing to ask this question...I am replacing a Clutch Cable on an 08' FLH tomorrow.
The brand-new Cable that I have here measures in as a NF 24 thread.

If you have a set of taps or thread chasers, lay the tap or chaser against the threads on the cable and it should mesh so well you won't see any light through the contact area.

Following KD's suggestion, I measure 24tpi on a 2007 Cable (FLHX - same as the RK).
