I have a 33136-04 SE 6 speed overdrive I want to re-bearing....a question:

The mainshaft has a different part number (35058-03) as well as a different 5th gear (35237-03) but uses the same primary bearing race as the 5 speed (34091-85). The number for the 5th gear bearings is not on the parts list. I am assuming 35051-81.

The countershaft has a different number also (35059-03) and the primary side bearing in the case is not listed. Again, I assume 8977.

I feel I should be safe getting the stock parts for this as the gears, shafts, shifter fork stuff and gaskets carry a different number as far as I see.

Any input?

I think you can find necessary info on -J03322 in the HD instruction sheet section. I do believe all bearings are stock 5-speed numbers.

Thanks guys but I have the paperwork for that. Like I said, those parts aren't listed or pictured.  :nix: #23 has bearings in it which are in the 5 speed parts books. No mention of the countershaft bearing at all. I'm hoping someone has a line to the MoCo to find out. My counterfolk are pretty green.

Have you looked at the Jim's USA 1060 kit? It's for SE six speeds for 1990 to 2006 bikes.

Good call Brian.
To the OP Jims made those 6 spds for SE. In addition they were made to Bakers O.D. design in an agreement between the 2.

I said kit number 1060 as I assume you're working on an FLH bike. Other models have a different kit number.

I just did the Jim's 6 speed in my 2000 Road King. Make sure you buy the recalibration module so you can get your speedometer to read correctly.

Mine was fine with the T-Max. At least it doesn't read slow :-).
