I am replacing my crank sensor on my 03 dyna fxd. I have noticed that some bikes have a clip box around the oil filter. Well mine does not. So my question is does the wiring run all the way up to the ign. module or is there a  clip under the seat prior to going into the module. If you have done this before and have any tip or info I would really appreciate it. I am new to this group thank you for accepting me.

The crank sensor wires and oil pressure sensor wire are combined together in one sheath , and run up to two connectors under the seat .
It's a fiddly job to try and remove the old wires and run the new wires , so
usually easier to run them separately or cut and splice .

Take a look at an online Harley parts diagram and it becomes obvious .

According to My HD Service Manual...the Crank Position Sensor Wire should be 2 Wires...Red and Black, going to a 2 Wire Connector, then Off to the Ignition Module.

The Oil Pressure Sending Unit is a Single Wire...Green with a Yellow Stripe Tracer, going to a Single Connector, then heads toward the Speedometer.

I would suggest tracing out the Crank Sensor Wiring from the Sensor and see if You run across a Connector.
If You don't...it may have been previously replaced and Cut and Spliced at some point as mentioned by Speedzter.
If No Connector is found...keep Your eyes open for a Heat Shrink Splice, or a Taped-Up Connection.

I bought the bike new so no slpicing has been done. I have seen two connectors under the seat just want make sure I have the right connector  black and red wiring should help just wish I could loosen up the line coming up the tubing to be sure.

Use an ohm meter and you'll be able to find out if the other end of the wire run is the correct wire.

Knowing my level of patience, I'm pretty sure mine would be a cut and splice solution.

If You haven't found that Connector yet...I seem to recall a Buddy of Mine and Myself working on His 03' FXDWG finding the Crank Sensor Connector located Zip-tied on the Right Side of the Straight Section of the Lower Frame, behind the Front Exhaust Pipe.
Approx. around the area of where Your right foot would be.
Been a while, about 10-15 years...but I think that is where it was.

Can't say if similar info is included in the 03 SM's but it is there in 07 fershur. You should be able to find a section that describes exactly where the 79 (A & B) connector is located.
