How much cooler does a tuned bike run?

My new stock Heritage runs pretty hot. I have a PV that I used on my 2013 Dyna. I would like to add the Heritage and download Dynojet's "stock improved" tune, but I'm wondering whether the bike would run much cooler with that tune. I don't want to get it dynoed or do an autotune. TIA

A lot cooler.   A tune will normally add fuel which helps cool the engine by making the mixture richer.

Thanks. That's the reply I was hoping for.

I did the Fuel Moto stock improved tune on my '22 fxlrst just before I installed the supertrapp exhaust and had to get another new tune for that mod. It never really ran too hot in stock form, in my opinion, but with the improved stock tune, I noticed it was slightly cooler, and just a tad bit more throttle response and power. No major difference than the stock tune per say.

I'm pretty sure you have heard it before Jim but even stock bikes benifit from a tune tweak, peak numbers prolly won't change much but it will run smoother, cooler and be crisper on the throttle, all desirable attributes 😁
Just because its said don't make it so

I did notice all the benefits you mention after installing slip-ons and a high-flow air filter and the appropriate tune. I've decided the 114 engine doesn't need a cam for my purposes. I just want reliability and  reasonably good performance, and I've got that with these mild mods.

Don't be afraid of the autotune with a PV, not that hard of a process and if you don't like the results it's easy enough to put the canned map back in.
