Morning tech folks, my current build FM 124 w 11.0 comp 62mm tb/intake w wood 77x 2/1/2 pipe runs good but would like to see it come on little sooner so im wondering which fueling cam would make this happen ?
521 or  538  ??  I see on the htt cam chart both of these cams have ground in advance

thanks

Ive not had it dyno tuned but that looks very nice, ive run 3 wide band auto tunes to date..  i have a 521 i could throw in and get new tune from lucas if the thinking is a 521 comes on sooner. by the numbers it should    77x has 42 intake close so 521 at 34 close should do it ??   are ya thinking 538 wont make much difference ?

thanks for responding

Why have you limited cam selection to only Feuling?

i dont actually have a cam preference, i like woods products and i do have a 521 avail to me, jus looking at other options should i decide to make a change if needed for 2 up riding
I have FM level A heads so want to make use of the extra lift cam

I'd not be making any cam choices until the bike is properly tuned by someone who knows what they are doing. Could have a great big flat spot/hole in the area you ride for example and an auto tune may very well not fix that. Whole bunch more goes in to tuning than just trying to make some VEs come in line.

it would be a lot cheaper to get some back pressure in the pipe with a tunable insert.
my 124 was soft off the line and the inserts brought it back.
the M8s are prone to reversion, too.
sounds better, too.

Post results and riding impression after tune.
