11.4:1 too much compression for a cr480mt?

Wondering if the later intake close of the andrews 485,might work better?
No headwork,stock TB,exhaust TBD.

I had 265/267#  CCP with the 480MT @ 10.5:1, and a lot of detonation in the heat. My testing showed better TQ/HP with the AP485, with less heat.

I would not be comfortable putting the 480mt at 11.4

Way too much compression for the CR480MT, if its truly 11.4:1 would not recommend any of the short bolt cams. You will need to bleed off some cylinder pressure
