Stock clutch cable adjustment linkage didn't make it a year, 14k miles. Fixed it up with the fat baggers kit.

damn I got a 22 heritage hope that its not a common thing, the replacement has no plastic I'm guessing.

Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

I had the parts sitting on the shelf. I was noticing a notchy feeling when working the clutch sometimes so I looked and noticed the crack.

Should be good to go now.

The motor company taking the cheap way and pawning it off on their customers.  Fat Baggers has a new (well new to me anyway) EZ Install Upper Clutch Cable which moves the adjuster up close to the lever and eliminates the plastic parts at the end of the upper cable.  Available in black and stainless steel from stock length to 8" over I think is the longest.

Saw it on Law Abiding Biker YouTube channel.

A friend got one of those right away when he bought his new bike a couple years ago. He was not impressed with the plastic, even before it caused issues.

TN that looks like a good fix.  I knew HD went cheap when they removed the Hydraulic clutch from the CVO's and went to cable.  I'm going to have to go look at my bike and see if its plastic, I'm guessing it is.
