I have an old Evo Wide Glide that I use to bar hop now and then but it only gets about 500-1000 miles a year. The last 3 hole fluid change was done in October 2022, about 900 miles ago. Is there any need to change the fluids with this many miles since it has been a few years?

As long as you ride it long enough to get the fluids hot when you do ride it, you should be fine.

Would 10-12 miles get it hot enough?

No. Take it out for at least a half hour, 20 miles or more. Were it mine, I'd try to ride at least an hour. Short rides do no favors.
You want to get it hot and keep it hot for a while to burn off all the condensation, let the oil get into all the moving parts for a while to wash them and re-lubricate.
Check air pressure in your tires before the ride.
Also, check the dates on those tires and be aware that they are likely a little hard and out of round for the first part of the ride until they get good and warm.

I rarely start mine unless I'm gonna ride at least 50 miles....

Once a year, and use inexpensive oils.

But my family has a 1955 Packard that has it's oil changed every 5 years, and thats about 100 miles.
Teach your son to ride, shoot and always speak the truth.
