Hello there from Houston. My name is Mary Ann and I joined the forum seeking people with the experience and knowledge answer technical questions about building motors and help me identify parts I inherited from my father. When he died he left me 2 storage buildings full of vintage shovelhead parts and 4 motorcycles. A wide glide, super glide, 2 rigid frames and a rolling chassis. I am asking for help identifying the parts because people have asked to buy them and I want to be sure they don't low ball me because I don't know enough about what I have. Let me clearly state I'm not trying to sell anything on this forum I just want information about my parts answers to some questions. Check out my rigid frame and let me know what you think- it ain't exactly beautiful but I like it. Custom built motor with delkron cases, motor is 40over80, high compression heads, old school points and condenser, evo stator, gravity fed super E, Rivera primo clutch, chain drive, and close ratio gears. My Daddy built the entire bike from the frame up by himself- no outsourcing.

Well Howdy to Houston.

You're wise to "check-in" with the folks on here for Tech help - and even Tool ID help (seen your other post). There are some very smart folks on here willing to share freely - and it's intended to be reciprocal. If you know something, share something. The occasional remittance to Coyote opens the doors to schematics and manuals while also keeping this site humming along so if you can...we'd all appreciate anything to help.

You already know your Daddy left you some real gems (Shovelheads) that hold great value (Pans and Shovels make excellent Chops) and there's already a credit to you for realizing what you've got. I for one am happy to hear you'd rather ride/restore than just sell-off. Good on ya!

Welcome to HTT JSM!
Our Shovelhead section has some great inspiration/information but do a full site search including The Homemade Tools, and Vender Sections as well. Don't overlook the Sale/Wanted items while making new friends with everyone through Earl's Thread.

We're all A-holes. It's to what degree that makes us different.
