Got a leak at the gas tank check valve on the 02 injected RK.. Looks like to repair the check valve you got to replace it..  This sound right? Max

AFAIK there are no spare parts for it. I assume you are talking about the fuel line connector at the tank.
check valve 62189-01A
o-ring (2) 11323

Sometimes this helps:
PB, WD or similar up into the valve mechanism.
Raise collar to inject lube into the locking balls.
Then exercise it a few times with a few connect/disconnect cycles.
Bright light and mirror too to look for piece of crud etc.
Considering a power upgrade?
First and foremost, focus on your tuning plan.

Just a suggestion, if your are going in there change them both.

Thanks for the help,

I was thinking about replacing both pieces if I can't get em to seal. If it looks like I've got to pull the tank a part to get the check valve out so I'll probably replace the filter also. I give the cleaning a shot first.  Max

It was late last night. Getting the bike back together and that fitting was leaking like a sieve. I got it to seal OK this morning but looked at the hose fitting and the seal was drying out / cracked.. On the way home from target shooting today with my son, I picked up a  new hose at the dealer. The original had been superseded to a new number that that one was up to rev F. It was manufacture April of this year so I expect HD has been replacing a few.. Thanks for the help.. Max
