Just read this on the CVO website.

Go to www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad/cert.php#6 for the 2010 HD Models.

Specific to the FL Frames, here is what comes up.

1684 cc; FLHR, FLHR-SHRINE, FLHRC, FLHTC, FLHTCU, FLHTC-SHRINE, FLHX, FLTRU, FLHTK, FLTRX
1688 CC; FLHPE, FLHTP
1688 CC; FLHTCUTG, FLXXX
1688 CC; FLHP
1802 CC: FLHTCUSE5, FLHXSE

Looks like their is another Ultra Screaming Eagle and a Street glide Screaming Eagle.

Same 96", 103" and 110 displacements as in the past. Who knows whether anything else is going to change at this point. Last year's EPA (Federal Environmental Protection Agency) certifications listed a couple of larger displacement liquid cooled engines.

This link is for CARB (California Air Resources Board) and applies to CA emissions certifications only.

Application for Federal EPA or CARB certification by an OEM Manufacturer requires engine displacement description as cubic centimeters / cc's.

Good, the Road Glide is still there, just in a Ultra configuration.  I'm pleased.

Just bought an 09 Street Glide and took delivery yesterday....Rumor I heard at the dealer was that the Road Glide was history and that they we're going back to a Tour Glide with tour pack and stuff.....Just a rumor I heard .......

The last time things like this came out in bits and pieces was when they went from EVO to Twincam.
Wait until the dealer show and see what happens.

This site is the real deal.  It has shed light on new models consistently for years.

The Road Glide will be called something else, I suppose.  But, there is a FLTRU, so mabye they will call it a RoadGlide Ultra, or maybe a TourGlide (but I doubt it).

The only thing that remains to be seen is the actual mods.  I suspect its still a frame mount fairing, perhaps no change even to the fairing itself.

Perhaps all they will do is add a tourpack (chopped, I hope), lowers and CB with 4 speakers.  Its then truly an Ultra, like the EG-Ultra.

Me, I would only prefer the tourpack added on.  The rest doesnt interest me, especially with all that added weight.  Got enough of my own slowing me down.  lol

The Street Glide is a CVO this year, so that will look nice.  Those will sell out within 4 months in the US.  Anyone care to bet?

Rugby, could be.  Maybe water cooled too, who knows.  But, with displacements unchanged and emissions controls unchanged from last year, I am not sure we will see any big changes.  But, I have been wrong many, many times before.  Just ask my ex--she knows it all  lol

Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

kingvvk

Looks like no more FLHT standard. Too bad.

Unless EPA mandates I don't see HD putting out a new engine for a while, right now its about cost containment and reduction in expenses, maintaining sales.

TC is a good engine, runs well, and the tooling is probably paid for....

You'd have seen a new EPA request for a new engine....

choseneasy

I would bet there is a motor in the works, probably running. You would be surprised how many years it takes from design to showroom. With the ever tightening EPA requirements  I don't think the project would  be shut down because of the economic slowdown.
The twin cam motor was reportedly to be released in 97 but was held off for 2 years to work out bugs. JMO, I don't have an inside scoop.
