Gettyburg will be roaring this weekend, with an expected 35,000 bikes.
According to the news article, the chrome parade is at 7pm this Saturday night (7/11/09).
The town of Gettysburg isn't that big and I should imagine bumper to bumper bikes & max. congestion.
Talk about rolling thunder, better have ear plugs in the luggage.  :smileo:
Figuring an average bike holds 5 gals. of fuel, that adds up to 175,000 gallons of fuel, if all need a full drink.

Take a look for yourself...............http://www.wgal.com/news/20017293/detail.html

Be extra careful out there, even if your not going.

Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.

Didn't think to much of it this year. Couldn't make it last year but in 2007 it was very good. The hotel on the west side of Battlefield HD had the Bud Clydesdales some venders and other stuff but that was in '07. It seems to be going down hill every year. Battlefield HD was extremely crowed today (Saturday). They had the lot behind the dealership filled, the lot on the left filled, the back lot filled and they were parking along the road. This was a noon time

Was at O' Rourkes last night for dinner then over the hill to the Pike...that was a blast but no way in hell I am paying 20$ to visit the vendors at the All Star Grounds...why should I pay to see them and buy from them...
