I think Tim -1711tab could shed some light for ya .

R & R makes twin cam cases and I am sure they can build you a motor but open up your wallet.

You have to consider the frame as well,

once you get over a certain size you won't be able to fit a stock frame...

Then explain to him the advantages of a new primary drive system
and a new trans, then probably at that point a chain..

I run a belt on my 124 so far...so' k

The Jim's 131 will fit all the frames ok.  I've thought about having one bored out to 139" and having some custom pistons made.  Why 139?  Its the largest displacement to run AHDRA pro street class.
Idiots are fun, no wonder every village wants one.

A 124", done up, will usually scare the b'jiggers out of most folks.

SE Heavy Breather, Jims 131" motor, SE 58mm t-body w/ SE injs, D&D FatCat, SERT tune.  The clutch was slipping a little too.  I think you can bore the spigot up to 4.8", so you can go plenty big if you wanted.

T-Man Performance makes a nice Jims 135 ci engine.  Very reliable and strong as can be.

<<see G2 star racing they have a street 145 twin cam...>>

The 145 needs frame mods to fit, IIRC.  The 126 dual cam does not...and makes 150+hp and 145+tq out of the box...

If he wants max power and has the $$$ go G2.

If he is going to run this in his dyna without major chassis upgrades...try really hard to get added as a beneficiary to his life insurance policy...it should pay-off quick.

I'd go with the G-2 that is one bad powerplant, unless you want to spend more, than any of the normal high-end guys can do one.  Not long ago you could buy a G-2 126, quite resonably.  The fella who runs one here may chime in.

If he is going to the trouble to swap engines and all the upgrades that go with it notching the frame is no big deal after all he want`s the biggest baddest he can get, and it sure ain`t a Jim`s 131 unless he plan`s alot of mod`s

Ever consider getting a cheap ( relatively) crate motor and adding a ProCharger? Less $ than a pro motor, and ~200HP should be "adequate", or maybe merely "tolerable" :)

Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

A G2 126" w/ B2 heads that fits in a stock frame would be my choice. About 9500.00 assembled in Black. Custom exhaust required.
