98RKC 73K with EFI runs for a few miles and dies....Lights still work,Turn the ignition switch back on and you can hear the fuel pump, engine just turns over but won't start, pull the plugs and their dry....let the bike sit for at least a half hour and it starts....I didn't check for spark because the bike starts after sitting so I'm leaning towards a fuel delivery problem....fuel pump or fuel filter...Do EFI's have a fuel filter and is it in the fuel pump???   Thanx

Filter is a steel housing and located in the fuel tank, I would head for a crank sensor problem due to your cool off period and it starts. You can put a gauge into the fuel delivery line, it has an allen headed plug at the tank fitting that a gauge can be used to determine fuel pressure.
What's wrong with having the only Evo in the parking lot?

If you have no performance issues,  I would be leaning toward coil break down or most likely the crank position sensor,  I have seen them break down and start back up after cooling down,  best way to check that is when it dies,  look at  your tach and crank the starter, if your getting no reading , then go for the crank position sensor.
