What's up with that?
I decided to install a battery tender today.
As I disconnected the negetive battery cable from my RK, I noticed several small sparks.
Is this normal?
I'm may be old, but being old has taught me to suspect that there may be trouble in river city...

What do you guys think?
I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one...

Something is drawing power, hence the sparks. If you have an amp meter you can check how much is being drawn.
Beat it to fit, paint it to match

If you have a security system or something that is always on, it will spark when you remove the neg cable.  It's a good idea to measure the current with an amp meter if you think you have a short that is drawing the battery down.

yeah it's normal if you have even a small draw on the battery. Do you have a touring bike?

Bakon

Normal. Something is drawing power. Radio memory, alarm (Even if off) accessory you added.
