OT,,,gonna be a grandpa

Just found out this afternoon my baby and her husband are gonna have a baby.
im soooo excited,im still a little in shock i think,cant wait!
they think it will be here around march or april,
gonna be a new biker in the crowd

Congrats, Grandpa!  Hope all goes well for mom and child, and another happy family takes shape.  Kids rule!

My wife is due in November.  We are older, but its Gods blessing, and took His work to let it happen for us.  Will be my wifes first, my third.  I'm older, but still excited as if she (its a girl) is my first.  I love kids.

Congratulations.  I am already a grandpa and I'll tell you the saying that "you love them, but you love to see them go home" is true once they head into the terrible two's!   I wouldn't trade her for the world though.  She sits up on the bike and goes "vroom vroom"  Gotta train her young!

I'm happy to report I've got a dozen grandkids and three great-grandkids.  They keep you young (along with riding your Harley!).

Grand kids are great, on my oldest Granddaughters 6th (she is ten now) we had a family get together in Calif. and I took my Son and Duaghter along with. We went to Disneyland and after we went in the front gates my Granddaughter turned around and hugged my leg and said "Thank You Grandpa" yep they are great,,,,
A few years back she would call and asak if she could come over, I said yes, can you come get me? (they live on the other side of twon about a mile away) I said yes,,,,,,,,,,, Can you bring the motorcycle??? of course,,,,,
She sits back and leans against the tour pack and waves at people as we ride,,, she just loves it,,,, now she would rather spend her time on her quad in the woods,,, But she still rides with me once in a while,,,
sorry had to share and I am sure you will have some of the same memories coming up,,,,,

I have 8 altogether now. Finally talked my son into letting me take the oldest 9 yr old boy for a ride. Man he loved it!

I bought me one o them K-Mart papoose baby carriers and had my Grandson around a couple of blocks at 2 months old (I was WAY more scared than he was - hehehehehe)

Congrats. I have two girls and one boy grandkids, have lots of fun with them. Of coarse i have programed them to Harley. The boys parents ride and he has all the clothes to look the part. When each one turned three, i bought them a Harley rocking horse. I get on behind them and boy do we ride!

don;t take this the wrong way but I have 2 kids & 2 grandkids and all I can say is, kids suck, grandkids ROCK, lol

Just couldn't wait to read all these posts.  I have a 3.5 yr old grandson, born on Christmas. As many has said, there is nothing like a grandchild!!  Love both daughters, but the feelings I have for him are hard to describe.  I'm sure you will feel the same.  I just bought him his first bike of sorts...a Powerwheels John Deere Gator.  Took his first ride in the garage on Monday night, ran into my bike back tire.  No damage just scared him a little. Will hit the open yard if this rain ever quits in Ky.

Dennis the Menace,   If what happened to me happens to you yer in for a treat havin a girl.  Girls, for me, went from being a handy receptacle to being a group that must be protected at all costs!  The moment I laid eyes on her my perception of women changed instantly from testosterone poisoned male to defender of the fair sex.  Enjoy.
