A "marine" cam?  LOL... The first hot rod I built had a "marine" cam in it that was donated by a guy I knew.  I have no idea what the specs were on the cam but I know it sure made that small block Ford shake rattle and roll.  Had that really nice loping idle sound.  It was everything a 16 y/o kid dreamed of.... well, not everything  :hyst:

The guy that gave the first hand account of the incident and his involvement has a great wit.  What a hoot.

What REALLY intrigues me about this picture is that there's a helmet sitting on the handlebars...  Kinda like the guy intentionally rode it into the water, took off his helmet, then got off the bike as if he meant to do all of it.   :smiled:

OK, so what OIL do you think is best when riding in these conditions????   :potstir:   :sswim:

Why, water soluble of course.
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

He ran off the edge of a paved pull off that drops off almost straight down into the water. I've been there and there is room to turn a tractor trailer around in it. ??????????

*OUCH* - the pile of embarrassment continues to stack up..........as for the helmet sitting on the bars - I got no explanation or theory but surely he didn't ride it down that dern near verticle slope?

He was wearing the helmet when he ran down the hill chasing the bike.  The owner ran into the water to upright the bike, and the good samaritan swam over to the bike, where they uprighted it, then took off his helmet. and awaited the tow truck.  The tow truck really hammered this thing pulling it out.

Was there yesterday. Stopped and looked...lucky he wasnt hurt.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.
