i just installed sta-bo on my ultra, best 100 bucks i have spent, they make the bike handle much better

I have had both on a 03 SE RK and the GP in on there now.  On a scale of 1-10 the SB was about an 8 with a high speed wobble every once in a while.  I have yet to have one with the GP and rate it a 10.  Going 85 mph I would jerk the handle bars and try to get it to start with the GP and stayed rock solid.

Someone clarify for me, is this the lower front motor mount or the swingarm bushings being discussed?? ???

Glide-Pro takes care of both.

This morning 85 mph sweeper across a twisting bridge. 2002 RF 20K on it..RK custom mags..  Bumps at the start and stop of the bridge plus a manhole cover.. Neither devices and its rock steady.   Worn Metzler would make it shimmy a little. Running Bridgstone Excedra's now.. Only issue with them was the front tire would hop a little on step bumps if the pressure is down (you could feel it slide in the corners) to 35 psi both tires seem to like 40 psi.. Looks like both will be worn out at about 7K (which is pretty good for me). Handling is excellent.. Nice and sticky also. Max

Thats good Max, but this bike has 84,000 miles on it and the other one just started and it just hit 100,000 miles.  The tires are new enough meaning they are at 70 to 80% tread on them and they are Dunlops.  I will do bushings on both but would like the best aftermarket ones.  Do you think if yours developed the wobble you would go with factory since it performs great as is?

Well,

Here is something to thing about.. if the bike has 84K and it's starting to wobble. I'd bring it back to spec. first.. These after market accessories won't fix a worn swingarm bearings or the stock rubber donuts if they are shot.. . If you want to try the glide-pro because you need to change the swing arm pivot shaft.. Give her a shot.. But I think it would be an unfair evaluation whether you rebuilt the rest or not (I recommend the rebuild).. IT IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR WORN PARTS!
